Who handles your information
This policy covers the Tak Tak Games website and its installable web app. Tak Tak Games is the service name used for these notices. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected]. This notice also applies to named guest accounts; playing as a guest does not mean that no information is stored.
Account and game information
We store your account identifier, nickname, chosen sticker and country flag, password hash when applicable, and login sessions. We also process matches, moves, tournament participation, standings, coins, gems, rewards and purchase records to maintain your progress and prevent duplicate credits. A chosen flag is a profile preference, not verified nationality or precise location. Network addresses and technical events may be processed for operation, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Country lookup uses GeoJS to estimate a country from your network address when this lookup runs.
Signing in with Google
Google sign-in is optional. We request basic identity and profile access (openid and profile), verify Google's response, and store Google's stable account identifier to recognize your account. Your Google display name may help create an initial nickname. We do not request access to Gmail, contacts or Drive, and never receive your Google password. Login tokens are exchanged on the server and are not stored as an ongoing Google API authorization. You can revoke the connection in your Google account; contact us separately to delete your Tak Tak Games account.
Why information is used
We use information to provide accounts, matchmaking, invitations, chat, saved rewards, paid features and support. Depending on applicable law, this processing supports the service you request, legitimate interests such as security and fraud prevention, legal recordkeeping obligations, or your consent where required. Optional microphone access is controlled through your browser. We do not sell your personal information or use Google sign-in data to build advertising profiles.
Cookies, local storage and optional media
Essential cookies maintain login sessions, request security and language preferences. Login sessions normally last 30 days and can renew when you return; language preferences can last a year. Browser storage and the PWA cache remember settings and application assets until cleared. Game pages include Google Analytics tags, which may process device and navigation information; browser privacy settings and blocking tools can limit this tracking. External media, fonts and flag images may contact their providers. Uploaded music is stored with your account and removed from the active music library when you delete it.
Retention and protection
Account information, balances and purchase history are retained to operate the account and resolve legitimate support, security or legal needs. Live game and chat state uses temporary server storage; its lifetime depends on session activity and operational configuration. We use password hashing, restricted account access and security checks, but no online service is risk-free. After a deletion request we assess which records can be removed and which must be kept for legal obligations, fraud prevention or unresolved transactions, and explain any relevant restriction.
Your choices and requests
You can manage your profile, microphone permission and browser storage, and sign out on your device. Email [email protected] to request access, correction, an export or deletion of your account and associated data, or to raise an objection. Describe the request without sending a password or Google secret; we may need proportionate identity verification. Applicable law may also give you restriction, portability, withdrawal-of-consent and supervisory-authority complaint rights. Children below the applicable age for independent consent should use the service only with the required parent or guardian involvement. Tell us if a child's information needs review.
Updates and contact
We may update these notices when features or relevant requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes affecting account rights or data use will be communicated through appropriate service notices. Contact [email protected] for questions, account assistance or a copy of the information relevant to a dispute. All six language versions cover the same service; mandatory local rights are preserved.
